Blue Girl Pictures is an independent documentary production company founded by Catherine Mattingly in 2003. We are located just outside the nation's capital in North Bethesda, Maryland. Before launching the production company, Catherine was a product development executive at a leading online research company. She is also a poet and a licensed attorney.

The primary purpose of Blue Girl Pictures is to produce independent documentary shorts and features. Everyone has a story, and these everyday stories have relevance for the rest of us. Blue Girl Pictures will consider a limited number of commissioned videos. Occasions for commission videos include milestone birthdays and anniversaries, retirement, new babies (think video baby book), weddings (documenting the occasion AFTER the fact). | ||||||||||||||||||||
